Internships:
Social Media Intern:
The social media intern
will be help with implementing grassroots marketing campaigns
across social networks. In addition to just posting news and
content, you will be required to organize the information,
analyze the data, and write up a full report.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing online community connections for Rocket
Science clients
- Assist with inbound linking strategies e.g., search engine
marketing (SEM), cross-linking, social media marketing.
- Carry out specific
search engine optimization tasks, including adding website and
blog content, keywords, and meta tags.
- Work closely with the
Vice President of New Media, as well as new media directors
Requirements:
- You must be a blogger,
Twitterer and have accounts on multiple social networks.
- Good computer skills and
tech-savvy.
- Active on social networking sites such as Facebook, MySpace and
YouTube.
- Website
editing experience ideal
- Graphics and multimedia editing experience
preferred.
- Good
organizational skills and detail-oriented.
