The Veer Union signs to Rocket Science, Divide The Blackened Sky in stores 3/27.

![]() Vancouver’s The Veer Union has signed with Rocket Science Ventures, who will release the band’s sophomore LP Divide The Blackened Sky on 3/27 via Sony/RED. The album features 10 new tracks, produced by The Veer Union with Brian Howe (Nickelback, Daughtry) The Veer Union made their mark in 2009 with the top 10 single “Seasons”, off their Universal/Republic debut Against The Grain, which peaked at #7 and was the longest charting rock song for a new artist all year. It became the theme song for the 2009 Stanley Cup champion Pittsburgh Penguins, as well as being featured in all Major League Baseball postseason telecasts, as well as NFL, NASCAR, ESPN, WWE, NHL and more. Their second release “Youth of Yesterday” was the most added song to rock radio the week of release. TVU toured relentlessly, playing shows and festivals across the US with the likes of Staind, Hinder, Theory of A Deadman, Korn, Breaking Benjamin, Framing Hanley, 30 Seconds to Mars, Flyleaf and many more, and the band will hit the road again in Spring to support Divide The Blackened Sky.
